1970s Reunion – 18th June 2022

Alumni from graduation years 1970, 1971 and 1972 came to King’s for what was a really excellent reunion event. We began with an introduction in the old entrance hall from our Chair, Dr. Barrie Morgan and Professor Funmi Olonisakin, who received her FKC at the graduation ceremony at Southwark Cathedral on 8th July 2022.

After coffee we went to the lecture theatre to listen a talk by Barrie on how King’s has evolved in the last 50 years. This is available on our YouTube channel:

We had a lovely lunch in the great Hall after which we explored the campus before returning for tea. The day ended with a most interesting tour of the Maughan Library in Chancery Lane. The event was well attended and very much enjoyed by everyone.
