Thank you for attending the Younger Alumni Inaugural Dinner

Dear Younger Alumni,

I hope this email finds you well.

On behalf of the Younger Alumni Steering Group, I am writing to you to say thank you for attending our very first Younger Alumni Inaugural Dinner last week. It was so wonderful to meet you all and to get to know you. It was a real delight to see everyone connecting with one another and we hope that you had amazing evening.

I am sure that we will all agree that the addresses by Dr Barrie Morgan, Professor ‘Fumni Olonisakin and Sue Searle were truly inspirational. I feel so lucky that they’ve graced us with their presence and were able to share some very empowering words with us.  From our perspective, your presence made this event a real success as our intention was to get as many Younger Alumni as possible in one room over a great meal and wine to connect in a meaningful way. The eagerness and the excitement to do more events in the future were definitely palpable in the room. And we will do more in 2024.

I truly believe that we’ve got some incredibly talented photographers in our midst. Many of you have taken incredible snaps during the evening via the POV app. If you have registered, you can access all the pictures on the app. Otherwise see attached a selection of pictures capturing our beautiful time together.

As the year draws to a close, we are setting our sights on 2024 and all the wonderful things we will be able to achieve together as a newer group within KCLA. The Steering Group and I will be in touch in the New Year to extend the invitation to anyone interested to contribute ideas, to volunteer time to support our Younger Alumni Group and our future events. If you haven’t already emailed me to register interest or to share ideas, please feel free to do so by responding to this email.

The Steering Group and I wish you a wonderful holiday season and hope to meet again very soon.

Warm wishes,
