- The King’s College London Alumni Association and King’s Sport & Wellness have teamed up once again to host the second King’s Sport Hall of Fame ceremony.

- Every two years, individuals and groups will be inducted into the Hall of Fame under three categories:
1. “Significant Sporting Achievement: Alumni or students who have gained national or international recognition by representing their country in competitive sports, thereby bringing honour to King’s and its alumni. This includes both current and historical ones.”
2. “Commitment to Sport: Staff, alumni, or students who have shown unwavering dedication and enthusiasm for King’s sports, contributing to the survival and growth of their chosen sport(s).”
3. “Sporting Clubs: Clubs that have fostered their sport, achieved national prominence, and produced multiple international athletes or individuals who meet the criteria for Hall of Fame admission.”

- On Thursday, 16 May 2024, students, alumni, staff, and honored guests gathered in the Great Hall for a reception hosted by King’s alumna and Olympic gold medalist Dame Katherine Grainger, where 14 more individuals were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Sport has and continues to play such an important role in the life of King’s College London – enhancing the University’s reputation through sport and improving the experience of students while they study with us. The Hall of Fame is a wonderful event, enabling us to recognise the contributions that our distinguished alumni have made.
