- The Annual Dinner and Duel Day Celebration was attended by 39 alumni under the age of 30 taking advantage of a concessionary ticket price. Inspired by attending the event, nine young alumni, chaired by Grâce Bomboko (MSc Affective Disorders, 2016) have formed a steering group to develop a KCLA Younger Members’ Group to satisfy the social and networking needs of alumni under the age of 35 as they progress in their careers.
- The group held a successful black-tie Inaugural Dinner in Governor’s Hall, St Thomas’ Campus on Friday, 24th November 2023 in the presence of Professor ‘Funmi Olonisakin, Vice-President (International, Engagement and Service) which was well attended. This gave younger alumni an opportunity to network with their peers and, over a glass of wine and dinner, discuss with members of the steering group the types of activities they would like to be organised on their behalf. It’s hoped this will be an annual event.
